SPAG    

WALT use suffixes and how they can change/add meaning to a word. 

  

A suffix is a string of letters that go at the end of a root word, changing or adding to its meaning. Suffixes can show if a word is a noun, an adjective, an adverb or a verb. 

  

The suffixes -er and -est are also used to form the comparative and superlative forms of adjectives and some adverbs.

-Take a look at the Fun Fact section and create your own poster.

-There are lots of healthy recipes to try, pick one this week and make it for your family. (with adult supervision)

What positive have come from lockdown? 

Take a moment to sit down and reflect. Think about all the new skills you have learnt during lockdown, for example helping mum with the cooking or learning how to use the washing machine. You can complete the activity sheet attached to Seesaw or create your own poster/powerpoint.

Nonetheless, it is a perfect opportunity to get our heads into some e-books and test assess our knowledge of the books we are reading. Here is how you do this :
